What and who are they, exactly?
“The far-right posing in far-left outift” is what many might think of the relatively recent – and obviously popular – current within present day European nationalist activism. They’ve adopted much of the Anarchist/far-left subculture in terms of dress and symbolism, some of this cross-overs being far from creative, to be subtle about it. However, they are doing something the rest of the nationalist scene in Europe should have done long ago: They are coming out with a political stance on topics which have been dominated by the far-left and the left in general for far too long. , that one of the problems of the Finnish nationalist scene is its obsession with one single issue – the immigration/multiculturalist issue. This applies very much to the wider European nationalist current as well. Yet there are many, many more topics that are important to the European nationalist, that simply aren’t being adressed enough in public. Such issues as social justice; capitalism, neo-liberalism and globalization; Israel, Palestine and American world hegemony; The war in Iraq and the “war on terrorism”, and on it goes. Even environmental issues are close to the heart of the nationalist, who fights for both his nation and the physical territory is inhabits. Not to mention the ecological aspects of such exponentially increasing rates of consumption and the implications it has for our home, Mother Earth, as a whole. It is time European nationalist movements took up these issues more actively, because they are important for us.
While many, more conservatively minded nationalists, might argue that it is a sham to start parading dressed up as anarchists, I say that its also important to ‘get with the times’, to realize that we need to understand modern society in order to be understood by it. We need to involve more young people in our movements, and instead of expecting them to come to us, we can meet them half-way by making ourselves more attractive for a young audience. This is not selling out as long as we stand by our principles. There are several precedents in history of nationalists using symbols often associated with the left, while remaining ideologically sound nationalists.
I see this particular current as having great potential.
Hello,
Good to see another non-dogmatic nationalist website. I have linked my blog to this one and I feel it would be productive if we both linked to each other.
You can find my blog at: http://anarchonation.blogspot.com/
Once you know who you are — a nationalist, a race realist, a Folkish Heathen — whatever, and you are secure in your own identity and your community of like minded believers such as at Stormfront (from where I found this site), you should joinfiltrate community organizations in your area that have to do with local agriculture, local music performance (especially if you play an instrument) and community service.
A global depression is coming. Position yourself as a “helper” and you will likely find yourself getting access to local levers of influence. Don’t wave the banner of your beliefs regarding race, religion or politics. Just be Mr. or Mrs. Community Service and play right along.
I play fiddle at Old Folks Homes with a community folk music group and read to schoolchildren and donate food from my garden to soup kitchens.
While agree with you, I woud like to stress that this site is in no way associated with stormfront or American White Nationalism.
What we have to realise is that swastikas, bootboys and the likes will not help save our race or nations (england in my case), neither will the current route of modernisation that many European nationalist parties have adopted.
The autonomous idea is a very good one, if executed properly, it could help create future generations of racially aware, morally concious and generally decent young people.
Myself and many others in England hope to be launching an autonomous project as soon as possible.
Britain will soon be in a state of recession, problems will only get worse from there onwards. The revolutionary image and stance that the Autonomous groups have adopted will only serve as a brilliant recruitment tool in such a time.
