Hello there and welcome to a new section of Velhametsä, entitled “Feeding the Troll”.
A “troll”, in web terms, is someone who under the anonymity provided by the web makes derogatory, racist or simply plain stupid comments. “Feeding the troll” is the action by which someone actually bothers to answer the troll.
Dear Mr. Dukoral was kind enough to read our blog and post this little pearl of delight after reading our “About” section, which states:
“Gil is Portuguese and I (wilpuri) am Finnish”
To which Dukoral answered:
What both of you have in common? Finish is Nordic and Portuguese is med, I do not see why you need to have bonding. sucks
So, i’ll bother feeding the troll.
First of all, Wilpuri is Finnish, not Finish. I assume your übermensch mind has yet to adapt to english grammar.
Secondly, Finnish culture is Scandinavian, not necessarily Nordic. Single individuals might be Nordic but then again Nordic types are somewhat present in all European cultures. As for Portuguese, clearly not a “med” culture, more of a Atlantic Facade one, but who cares about irrelevant things like history, culture, geography, anthropology, etc, when you can put such enlightening tags like “nordic” and “med”.
Thirdly, why should we limit our “bonding” to members of our respective cultures? Are you afraid of something? Well, personally I truly despise your kind, and by that I mean the pre-Homo Sapiens still around who disguise themselves as humans. Stupidity doesn’t choose hair, eye or skin colour.
